Examination of the nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) is a technique that involves using magnetic fields and radio waves to create computerized images of the human body with high definition. The great advantage of MRI in relations to other radiological imaging is its ability to generate sharp images without resorting to ionizing radiation (x-ray), as in the case of computed tomography, angiography and regular x-ray.
